Welcome to Messy Jessie's!

Messy Jessie's is into bikes! Our mission is simple we want to see more of San Diego on two wheels! You'll find us at farmers markets selling everything you need to dust off your bike and start riding it again. We carry everything from bags, racks, lights and locks to nutrition and bike themed art! Our collaboration of local artists is growing as well as our customer/friend/community base! Jacob has been on a world-championship knitting spree and G has printed up more shirts for us! Jessie has been busy making jewelry and other household items out of old parts and loving the creative outlet!

Thanks for your interest and we'll see you at your local market!

Do you want to learn more about your bike?

We've seen a need and an interest for hosting a basic bicycle maintenance class at local bike shops. The classes cover flat fixes, how to maintain drive components (minor adjustments on the newer equipment and explanation on how it works so we can problem solve some of the older and different parts), Cable tension (how to know when cables and housing needs to be replaced or when and how to lubricate them). Detecting chain stretch and cleaning/storing methods to help your chain last longer. Touching on chain tension for single-speeds/fixies/track bikes. We go over what to look at from the shifter to the derailleur and the most common solutions to problems. The goal is to do the minor stuff often so your parts last you longer. The classes usually last about two hours. If you're interested in becoming more familiar with your bicycle please check out our classes

Bike culture

All of our handmade items are inspired by two wheels. Everyone working with Messy Jessie's is a cyclist and has found a way to create products that reflect that fact. Check out what we've come up with by browsing through our gallery of bike art.
